What are check-in and check-out times? Check-in is 4:00 PM and check-out is 11:00 AM. Check-in is self-serve, and your door code is texted the day you arrive.

Is there Wi-Fi and cell service? The Launch Pad has Starlink Wi-Fi. The A-frames are off-grid, and cell service is spotty across the whole area, so download maps before you arrive.

Are pets allowed? Pets are not allowed at this time. Service animals are welcome with notice.

Is the water drinkable? Yes, the water is potable but limited. Please keep showers short and don't leave taps running.

How is the property powered? Every unit is 100% solar-powered. On long cloudy stretches, please go easy on power use.

Do the units have AC and heat? All four units have full air conditioning. The Launch Pad and The North Frame also have heat.

How far is Big Bend National Park? 22.8 miles, about 23 minutes, to the park's Maverick Entrance West. Terlingua Ghost Town is about 25 minutes away.

What is the nearest airport? Midland International (MAF) is about 4 hours away by car. El Paso (ELP) is about 4.5 hours.

What should I pack? Layers (temperatures can swing 40°F between day and night), a headlamp, a refillable water bottle, sunscreen, a hat, sturdy shoes, a paper map, snacks and a national park pass if you don't have one.
